MWcon keeps pc rebooting
Hi ,
Having a problem with MWconn with Mobidata / Longcheer WM72 UMTS dongle .
Connection is working fine direct at modem com port , but cannot switch off the pc.
MWconn keeps rebooting the pc.
When i am using Huawei E173 dongle with automatic setting and Simyo sim , problem is gone.
Using Maxroam sim cards , but they did not work on Huawei E173.
Someone did have any idea ?
Best Regards
Kees

Re: MWcon keeps pc rebooting
May be your E173 is sim-locked or net-locked ... check it using dc-unlocker-client, please!
Re: MWcon keeps pc rebooting
Hi ,
Having a few new and unlocked E173's here , connecting fine but sometimes no internet connection with them at maxroam cards.
Sometimes they work ,sometimes not . Thats the reason for the Mobidata dongles.

Kees

Re: MWcon keeps pc rebooting
Sorry but I'm afraid, that you are on your own, 'cause it's exotic hardware ...

Re: MWcon keeps pc rebooting
It seems it's also network related , when i put the maxroam sim in the E173 , pc also reboot after shut down.
Are there maybe settings to avoid this ?
Best Regards
