I have an Optus Australia E1762 USB modem (ie Huawei) and dlink DIR-412 3G router. When the E1762 is plugged directly into my laptop mwconn finds it no problem and connects. In this case mwconn is controlling the connection, but when I use the modem in the 3G router the router is obviously establishing the connection so is it possible to have mwconn monitor the connection in this senario? I would like to run mwconn on one of my laptops sharing the connection and use it to monitor the location / cell / signal information. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
craig.

Re: Connection via 3G router
Hello cryan,
sorry, but as i know/imho its not possible to use MWconn over LAN/WLAN (Ethernet)!
Only directly connected to the System or maybe (some) Router connected over USB.
