I'm trying to have mwconn sending out SMS with no luck. As soon as I started mwconn.exe I can see the message "Sending SMS" (this meand mwconn.exe finds the .txt file in the correct folder -sms_send-) but the only message present in the sms_send folder is not processed (sent): it remains in the folder. Unfortunately I don't find any log message it can help me in identifying where the problem is located. I'm using a Huawei USB stick provided by Vodafone Italia. I'm sure the stick works (tested with Vodafone sw and directly with mwconn through the "Service Terminal windows") and I'm sure the Short message service center is correctly configured.
Does anyone has any hint?

Did you try to activate servilog? For more information follow the link in the red box above! May be, we will find a solution this way, who knows ...

Thanks for help. Service Log has been useful: in the log I find the following sequence of steps related to SMS.
So the error is related to the submission of the message in PDU format. I'm going to look online for resources about translating my message in PDU just to verify if the message is correct even if I'm pretty sure it is. Meanwhile any other suggestion is wellcome...

Did you try using the SIM for SMS with other hardware, i.e. a mobile phone?

I sometimes have this problem too, but i have 2 dongles, one is Vodafone and one is Orange.
Vodafone sometimes hangs and gets stuck on a message, i just wait for the sending sms message to go away and move the troublesome sms file in the Orange directory. Orange sends it without any problem.
One guess is that the sms length is above 160 characters? and some operators don't allow this?
It would be interesting to find out why it does not send some messages on some carriers. THe dongles are different, the Orange one is newer. Vodafone is old Huawei E220, Orange is Huawei E1552.

Same problem here: send is stuck. SIM can send SMS (tested) and no PIN is used. Can you please help me?

You have to set SMSC number +393492000200 instead of +39393492000200 - good luck
