Hi

I am trying to get a Dell DW5550 Mobile Broadband Mini-Card installed in a Dell Latitude E6420 working with Mwconn.

The Laptop is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I have 2 problems:

1.
The card is not detected by the config utility. I have tried manually selecting a model & also manually choosing the COM port, but still no luck.

2.
config.exe crashes when trying to add the "Internet" connection & closes.
I have tried running config.exe as Administrator, but same problem

I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling mwconn, but still the same problem


Any ideas?

Wanted to add that apparently this Dell card is a rebranded Ericsson F5521gw.

You should activate loging and post the reported file (see link above in red box)!
